Finance & Administration Manager
Swimming Waikato | Part Time (30 hours per week)
Hamilton, Waikato

Swimming Waikato is seeking a highly organised, friendly and proactive Finance & Administration Manager to lead our financial processes and support the smooth delivery of our regional programs and events.

About the Role
As a key member of our small and dedicated team, you will be responsible for ensuring our financial and administrative functions run efficiently and professionally.

Finance Responsibilities
• Manage day to day finance operations, including accounts payable/receivable and financial reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, month end and year end processes, and Board reporting.
• Prepare invoices and manage billing enquiries.
• Assist with funding applications and accountability reporting.

Administration Support
• Communicate professionally with clubs, partners/stakeholders and the wider swimming community.
• Coordinate meetings, appointments, catering and travel arrangements.
• Assist with organising events such as swim meets, awards evenings and development programs.
• Provide general administration support across our many initiatives and community programs.

About You
You will be:
• Detail focused, reliable and a confident self starter who enjoys working independently.
• Friendly, approachable and an excellent communicator, with a strong customer service mindset.
• Experienced with financial and administrative systems, including Xero.
• Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
• Passionate about supporting community sport and contributing to positive outcomes.

About Swimming Waikato
Swimming Waikato is the regional governing body for swimming, supporting 19 clubs and thousands of swimmers across the region, from first time water safety learners through to high performance athletes.
We deliver a wide range of programs including SwimSafe for schools, Have a Go community events, regional squads, development opportunities and competitions, ensuring people of all ages and abilities can enjoy swimming in a safe, inclusive and inspiring environment.
