We are very excited to announce the full dates and locations for our 2020 Deloitte Kick Start Technique Clinics. We enjoyed a fantastic round of clinics in 2019 and we are very excited to announce another two locations for 2020.
The main focus for these clinics is to provide technical upskilling for swimmers, delivered by our Regional Squad Team Coaches and Regional Hub Director. This inituative also provides Swimming Waikato with an opportunity to see the great work being carried out through the region and the resulting technical skills from swimmers.
We strongly encourage local club coaches to come down and to get involved and to learn alongside the Regional Squad Team, this will be a great opportunity for all coaches to learn together.
The session will be light in terms of volume swimming and will be focused on Freestyle, Race Starts, & Turns. On completion, all swimmers will be issued with a Swimming Waikato Kick Start Clinic Certificate to take home.

- 31st October – Tokoroa 9:00-11:00
- 14th November – Mercury Bay 10:00-12:00
- 21st November – Hamilton (St Paul’s Collegiate) 10:00-12:00
- 29th of November – Waihi 10:00-12:00
Cost $20 per person
Open to Club and Competitive Swimmers. Swimmers will be expected to swim several repeats of freestyle holding good technique.
The session will not be suitable for Learn to Swim level swimmers.
