“Please note that we have updated our SNZ Alert Level 2 Guidelines for events to no longer have a restriction to the size of the gathering – both indoor and outdoor pools. We believe this should be welcome news for those clubs and regions currently at Alert Level 2 looking to provide racing opportunities for swimmers.

Swimming Waikato has also been fielding questions in regards to vaccination requirements for your events and clubs. We are guided by Swimming New Zealand, who in turn is guided by the government’s decisions. Currently we have not received any further information/updates in regards to vaccination requirements. You will either receive further communication from Swimming New Zealand or from us as soon as we receive an update.
