A huge welcome to our FIVE newest Swimming Waikato member clubs:
Pukekohe Swim Club
Papakura Swim Club
Fulton Amateur Swim Team
Manurewa Swim Club
Papatoetoe Swim Club
.
We are delighted to have you all as part of our Swimming Waikato family and to begin our journey As One!

“Ahead of todays club transfers and on behalf of Swimming Waikato, I want to warmly welcome Pukekohe, Papakura, Manurewa, FAST & Papatoetoe Swimming Clubs to the Swimming Waikato family.

Like many of you, we will be sad to see our neighboring region in the North being disbanded, however we would like to pay tribute to the SCM Board and Volunteers present and past for their many years of service and hard work for the cause of swimming. We would also like to pay tribute to current SCM Board Chairperson, Debra Mahony for her many years of service to SCM and to all CM Club Presidents and Committees that oversaw their respective club transfers over the last few months.

The links between the Waikato & Counties Manukau have always been strong, built upon years of good friendships and collaboration. As we move forward, we know these bonds will continue to grow as we work together ‘As One’ to advance the sport we all love and to provide opportunities for all in our communities.

We have a lot of work ahead of us, but we have taken our first steps together.

Lastly, we want to wish HPK Swimming Club the very best with their move to Swimming Auckland.”
