The sun was shining brightly at the weekend for the Swimming Waikato Regional Potential & Performance Squads in Morrinsville.
This was the first scheduled camp of the year for both squads and an opportunity for some new faces to be welcomed into their respective squads for the first time.
The Day Camps included a Long Course pool session, Dry-Land activation support by Team Physio, Kim Deane and rounded off after lunch with a discussion around better nutritional habits with Lillian Morton. Swimming Waikato would like to thank Kim and Lillian for their continued support and also to our Regional Squad Coaches Mat Woofe, Graham Smith & Alison Fitch for their attendance this weekend.
It was great to see so many of the swimmers in their Swim T3 supported Swimming Waikato Gear; for those who are new to the squads, your kit is on its way.
Next up is the Pathway Squad, who will have their first camp of the year on the 22nd March. We can’t wait to see some familiar as well as new faces.
